Over the past few months, ASEAN AI Hackathon 2026 has reached remarkable milestones, bringing together thousands of young innovators from across Southeast Asia on a shared journey of creativity, collaboration, and technological innovation.

This year’s competition attracted 240 teams representing more than 100 institutions from 9 ASEAN countries, showcasing the region’s growing talent and commitment to leveraging artificial intelligence for meaningful impact. After a highly competitive selection process, the Top 40 teams have officially emerged, earning their place in the Semi-Final Round with outstanding ideas, innovative solutions, and strong potential for real-world implementation.
Representing the very best talents from across ASEAN, the Top 40 teams have been selected across four competition tracks. Each team demonstrated exceptional creativity, technical capability, and a strong vision for leveraging AI to create meaningful impact.
