Bridging Innovation and Learning in TVET (BILT) Bridging Event "TVET for hospitality and tourism: Solutions for the digital and green transition" will take place on 26 – 28 June 2023 at Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore and online.
Hosted by Temasek Polytechnic and together with UNESCO-UNEVOC and the German Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB), we are pleased to invite P2A members to attend the BILT Bridging Event virtually to incentivise peer-learning in the TVET community. Its purpose is to provide a platform to discuss trends in the region's green and digital qualifications and competencies, focusing on the hospitality and tourism sectors. The BILT Bridging Event for Asia-Pacific will encourage participants to:
- Generate knowledge and support peer-learning on innovative practices in TVET;
- Identify innovative and solution oriented TVET practices with regard to digital and green qualifications and competencies in the hospitality and tourism sector.
- Contribute to the work of the BILT Expert Group on sectoral recommendations for the policy and implementation level, in close cooperation with relevant industry and social partners;
- Identify opportunities for collaboration within and across the BILT regions;
- Contribute to strengthening the UNEVOC and TVET stakeholder network, particularly in the Asia-Pacific Region.
The event itself will comprise a mix of in-person and online discussions. Discussions on 26 June will take place in-person for the Expert Group Members of Hospitality and Tourism Sector only, while for 27 and 28 June 2023, presentations and discussions will be streamed to participants from all BILT regions (Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe).
